2012 Fred Best Classic – Field & Barrier Draw

The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 3 Fred Best Classic, which is due to run at Doomben Racecourse this Saturday May 19, 2012.

17 horses have accepted to be part of the 2012 Fred Best Classic final field and barrier draw, including Amah Rock.

Amah Rock has won three of his seven race starts and has earned close to $10,000 in prize money.

The Fastnet Rock gelding won his most recent start at Caulfield in the Cath White Memorial Handicap on April 21, 2012.

The Lonhro gelding has won four of his seven race starts and has earned more than $130,000 in prize money.

The three-year-old won his first-up start at Hawkesbury on May 5, 2012, and will be looking to continue his winning form in the 2012 Fred Best Classic.

Mental has drawn barrier four for the 2012 Fred Best Classic and will be ridden by jockey Kerrin McEvoy.
